Rivet is the session app for Canadian therapists. Calls, texts, video, CBT, EMDR, live fillable worksheets, screen share, and session notes that fill themselves in — all in one app, alongside the EHR you already use.

Built for solo and small-practice mental health practitioners in Canada — psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, EMDR-certified therapists, CBT practitioners and counsellors. PRACTICE PHONE
A dedicated Canadian local number for calls, texts, voicemail, and missed-call auto-replies. Never give out your personal cell again. Voicemail is transcribed on Rivet's own servers — never a third-party AI. Auto-replies use the exact words you've written. AI never speaks to your clients.

VIDEO SESSIONS
End-to-end encrypted video sessions your client opens with one tap in any browser. Nothing for them to install. Production-grade screen share for worksheets, assessments, and clinical materials. Sessions are never recorded — the architecture doesn't support server-side recording.

EMDR / BILATERAL STIMULATION
Visual, audio, and haptic bilateral stimulation built into the session itself. Designed around the de Jongh / Matthijssen EMDR 2.0 protocol. Multiple stimulus shapes, customizable speed (capped at the 2.0 Hz clinical safety bound), dual-task working memory prompts, and SUDS capture between sets with curve visualization. No second tab.

SESSION NOTES THAT FILL THEMSELVES IN
SOAP and DAP templates that auto-fill from the structured work you and your client did in the session. Use a PHQ-9 in session, the score flows into Subjective. Run an EMDR target identification, the targets flow into Objective. SUDS trajectories flow in too. You write the formulation and plan — the structured data fills itself in. Download the finished note as PDF or plain text and paste it into your EHR.

Designed around PHIPA (Ontario) and PIPEDA (federal Canada). Free written Data Processing Agreement included with every account. Voicemail transcription and intent classification run on Rivet's own servers — never sent to a third-party AI. Session notes are ephemeral: they live in the session, you download them when you're done, and they delete from our servers within 24 hours. Your long-term clinical record stays in your EHR where it belongs.
