About this app

Conduit is a simple app that lets your device support secure access to the open internet.

Built by the team behind Psiphon, Conduit allows your device to act as a secure connection point within Psiphon’s global network. When running, Conduit helps route encrypted traffic for people who rely on Psiphon to reach the open internet in challenging network conditions.

Conduit is designed to be easy to use and safe by default. Once enabled, it runs quietly in the background and does not interfere with how you use your device. All connections are encrypted, and Conduit never sees the content of any traffic that passes through it.

By running Conduit, you are strengthening the resilience and reach of Psiphon’s network. More active Conduit stations mean more reliable access for people around the world who depend on secure connectivity.

How Conduit Works

When a Psiphon user connects to the network, Conduit may establish a secure, temporary connection that helps route their encrypted traffic into Psiphon’s core infrastructure. This process improves reliability and makes the network more adaptable to changing conditions.

Conduit does not collect personal information, browsing activity, or message content. The app only facilitates encrypted network connections and operates within clearly defined bandwidth and performance limits that you control.

Designed for Everyday Devices

Conduit works on phones and computers you already own. You can configure basic settings such as connection limits and bandwidth usage, then let the app run in the background while your device remains fully usable.

Whether running occasionally or continuously, Conduit is built to be lightweight, efficient, and unobtrusive.

Why Run Conduit?

• Support access to the open internet
• Strengthen a global, censorship-resistant network
• Run quietly in the background
• No accounts required
• No content visibility
• Built by the Psiphon team

Open, Secure, and Transparent

Conduit is part of Psiphon’s long-standing mission to provide secure, reliable internet access worldwide. All connections are encrypted end-to-end, and the app is designed with privacy, safety, and transparency as core principles.

Internet access matters. Conduit helps keep it reliable.

The application has a simple and user-friendly interface, making it easy to work with. It would be very helpful if there were an option to restrict usage to Wi-Fi only, so that the application operates exclusively when a Wi-Fi connection is available. Additionally, it is unfortunate that there is no Linux version available.

hey guys! this is a serious problem: whenever I connect through wifi, at home or office, the conduit does not work properly, and it doesn't show any connection 🤔. as soon as I switch into my phone data, it shows people are and can use conduit. what is the deal here????

Thank you for providing this solution to help people circumvent censorship. It would also be useful to have a linux application version to run on cloud servers.
