Ratings and reviews

Capitec banking app is user-friendly and efficient. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making tasks like checking balances, transferring funds, and managing accounts straightforward. The security features are robust, giving me confidence in the safety of my transactions. However, there is room for improvement. It would be fantastic if Capitec could add a PayPal integration feature in the future. This would make the app even more versatile and convenient for international transactions.

Have had to downgrade to 3 stars. Compared to FNB's app, Capitec still needs to do a lot of work. This morning I'm not receiving OTPs, so cannot log in. It's not the first time either. You guys need to try harder, can't run a business if this is the status quo. OK and generally getting better, but still needs work in terms of speed and stability.

The App is somewhat useful but could do without the extra features that we don't want to use. Can't say much about the CAPITEC Sim Card though. The network constantly cuts off completely, then having to restart device or search for network manually. I ported to CAPITEC Mobile Network from MTN and I'm completely sorry I did. They don't have their own Network but use CELL C, if your area doesn't have a CELL C Tower nearby the Sim Card gives terrible network problems.
