About this app

Take notes and make flashcards using markdown, then study them using spaced repetition.

Mochi gives you the power to create content specific to your study needs.
Create a deck from scratch, or share one with a friend.

- Mochi uses a spaced repetition algorithm to maximize retention and minimize study time.
- Quickly jot down notes and cards at the speed of markdown. Formatting controls and shortcuts are also there if you need them.
- Linking between cards and notes is a powerful way to build a network of related information.
- Put an end to tediously copying your notes into flash cards one by one. With Mochi you can create flash cards from your notes with one click.
- You can embed media to your notes or cards like images, audio, and video by dragging them onto the editor.
- With a Pro account you can sync your content and use Mochi accross all of your devices, including mobile.
- Leverage the thousands of Anki decks already available online, or import your own.

This is the perfect manifestation of Zettelkasten. Happy user for two years. I just tried templates today and I can't believe it took me this long to discover them: they are a game-changer for foreign language learning or any deck you want to apply uniform structure too (hint more decks with structured templates is powerful). Cross-linking cards is easy and promotes atomic, evergreen notes. Mochi is as powerful or as simple as you wish it to be, which may be its killer feature.

I appreciate this app gets updated continuously and we'll prefer it over its alternatives. While I like the recently introduced swipe left/right mechanics, this update has removed the ability to return to the previous card. Could you please add a UI control back in that lets me do that, in case I accidentally swipe a card left/right?

TLDR: Looks great, deletes your cards. When I opened Mochi this morning, it asked me to log in. I don't have a Pro account, so I chose "Continue without login". It then showed me the pre-installed decks, but my own decks were all gone! I can't find them in the Android data directory either. It really looks like the app just deleted all my cards.

What's new

Fixed an issue with the "add to reviews" actions not working for diagram cards and reverse cards.
Fixed an issue with due status of cards with multiple cloze groups
Fixed an issue where the keyboard would sometimes overlap the cursor when editing a card.
