Stumble-Bot brings back one-button web discovery. Pick your interests, tap Stumble, and get a website, an article, a video or a photo you did not know you wanted. Like what you love, skip what you do not, and the next tap gets better.
No feed, no algorithm, no AI. Discovery is plain arithmetic over curated sources: hand-picked feeds, Wikipedia, YouTube channels, Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, the small personal web, and the sites members add themselves. Everything you see is explainable, and the crawler is documented in the open.
The News section shows who is covering each story. Every story carries a left / center / right bar built from an editorial table of over 300 outlets, marks opinion pieces, flags state media and blindspots, lists every outlet's report in columns and adds video takes from the outlets' own channels. Follow a story to see new reports as they come in, bookmark it for later, keep favorites, star the sources you trust, search by words, dates and places, add your ZIP codes for a Local lane, and open the map to see where the news is happening. Have a story, or a whole section in a row, read aloud by your phone's own voices, with the voice and speed you choose; it keeps reading when you lock the screen or switch apps, with play, pause and skip on the lock screen, and Stumble pages can be read aloud too.
Weather sits at the top of News: the conditions, the next hours and days, alerts and air quality for your ZIP code or your location, and a Radar & map page with an animated radar, alert areas and recent weather videos. Forecasts come from Open-Meteo and the US National Weather Service; add your own OpenWeatherMap key for its forecast and map layers.
Vidz is the watching tab. YouTube videos from the Stumble-Bot index play one per screen and start by themselves: swipe for the next one, go back to the one before, like or skip. Choose a lane: For you (your interests, plus a share from educational channels), Educational (channels picked by hand because their videos teach something) or any single interest or category. A playing video can keep going in a small floating window when you leave the app (picture in picture).
Stumble-Bot is invite-only and ad-free. Members join with an invite code on the website and get codes for their friends. Light and dark mode, share anything in one tap, and the same features on the web at stumble-bot.com.
One button, a great site every tap. News from every side, local weather.
