About this app

The app AGOV access is your access key to e-government services of the Swiss authorities (cantons and their communes as well as federal administration).

The AGOV system (see https://agov.ch) is a login procedure, identity provider and identity network and is available worldwide for interaction with Swiss authorities.

Cant upload QR code so if youre trying to log in from mobile your mobile device and don't have a computer you can't . Incredibly annoying to have to always use my phone to login without the option of not doing that. UX is abysmal. Makes you tap once to enter scan mode, which is the only thing you'll use it for so its unnecessary and annoying to have to tap. Once you've scanned it makes you tap another time to use your fingerprint sensor. Just send me straight to the finger print scanner! Pain.

Every time I start this app there is some error and there is no useful information what the problem is. I have a screen lock with pin code, that made it work again two months ago (fingerprint was not enough). Now it says 'sdk unknown ERROR The app cannot be started.' I'm doing the third identification check in two years, so annoying. It's not like I enjoy doing taxes and like wasting hours on logging in.

Impossible to use on my Galaxy S25. QR code from the website just won't scan (but the app instantly recognizes invalid codes) and when it miraculously does the app throws an unspecified error.
