About this app

The app AGOV access is your access key to e-government services of the Swiss authorities (cantons and their communes as well as federal administration).

The AGOV system (see https://agov.ch) is a login procedure, identity provider and identity network and is available worldwide for interaction with Swiss authorities.

I needed to reinstall the app and initiated the recovery process, using the recovery key I had saved. This was a 30 min futile exercise that lead nowhere. In the end I just registered as a new account and that worked. The app requires notifications to be turned on, I really don't see the need for that, moreover it doesn't respect the sound settings of the OS. Makes me wonder what other (privacy and security) settings it doesn't respect.

catastophic authentication process. I know it could be easy, because I work as a Software Developer. However, I needed a supporter because the registration option was missing on the phone. That is why I needed support, but the incompetent supporter hung up the phone. No back call. I managed with trial an error - many errors!

i can not use this app since it wont start, because google does not like that i refuse to be easely tracked by them, so the integrity check fails... why not use the more secure variant? What’s new

This app version brings usability improvements for the QR-code Scanner screen amongst other smaller improvements and fixes.
The app now requires at least Android 11 (older versions can no longer be supported).
