E2E encrypted chats aligns with my privacy values. Cutting one star as app has some bugs which i reported on github and the app seems to perform the same as having the web app opened in the mobile browser, there is no native android smooth experience.

So Maple isn't entirely private, if they are approached by let's say the police, your data will be shared immediately. keep this in mind. And not just the police anyone who scares maple and it's top end, will receive your information, guaranteed. this app is probably another CIA front like Facebook.

First try, I appreciate somebody coming out with end-to-end encrypted AI. I used the free version and the responses were fairly mediocre. I compared it to Protons Lumo which was superior which is actually catching up to Google Gemini. I did email Maple AI to see if they would give a trial for the pro version to see if it was better than the free version, but I did not hear back after 24 hours. Bottom line is that it's not ready for prime time at this point.
