I love the concept of ResQ. It used to be my go-to app if I was too tired to make food after a long work day, or get a treat. But after the UI rework, it's been downhill sadly. App is harder or annoying to navigate now. Going back to the map view with the phone's backwards button will close the whole app.

The new UI (April 2025) has far too many added cumbersomeness, limitations, and obfuscating lot of info previously available. Issue-1: Map view forces minimum 2-kilometre visibility vertical height-wise or manually clicking each vendor. Issue-2: Gone is "Sold / Open Since"-info on "Sold Out"-item-section telling when the vendor opened their ResQ-listing; As soon as vendor closes for the date, all info is gone. The lone improvement: We now have info telling exact listing-time of the bought item.

Used to be a great app, but unfortunately have to give one star after the April 2025 update until a fix is released. I was in the beta program and informed the ResQ team that the new version was slow and unresponsive, but it was released anyway. Recently, more than half of the time when I try to buy something through ResQ, the app crashes before I'm able to finish the payment process (which takes maybe 3 minutes now), I can't return to the payment process and the product disappears from the list
