Just to let you know why we will not use your app any longer. Not only was the transcription so far off but the F-word was used several times throughout the transcription. We NEVER use that word in any setting so to see it in our transcription was very concerning. I had hoped this app would help my brother and me as we navigate both of our parents health issues. Points to you for attempting to help with this for people but it doesn't work the way I think you expect it to.

Hi, Barb. I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience. The transcription quality depends very much on the recorded audio quality; the closer you can hold your phone to people speaking, the vastly better results you are going to get. If you'd like to shake your phone to report the bug we can look into what happened with your recordings in detail.

SPACE/TIME LIMITATION! I don't know whether it's space limits or if it is a case of how long the app will keep files. I used it to record appts. so I could transcribe them myself at a later time. It worked great for a while. Life happened & I got behind. I wasn't worried. Imagine my horror last week when I discovered that I had COMPLETELY lost 2.5 months of untranscribed recordings! The app erased everything beyond 2 weeks! They need to be HONEST and OPEN about this limitation! Uninstall!

Have been using this app to record pediatric appointments for our infant. We use it to prepare for the next appointment by adding questions as they come up during everyday life, and it's super useful to go back to a recording or transcript and double check what the doctor had answered about some topic we asked about. With covid-19, only one parent can attend the appointment, so it's great that the other parent can listen to the recording instead relying on the memory of the attending parent š
