About this game

Raise and care for your own cheetahs, one day at a time:
Feed them, exercise them, play with them, and keep their space clean. Every cat has its own personality, its own build, and its own needs- and neglecting them has real consequences!

Feel like a real scientist:
Certain information about your cats is locked behind things like number of interactions, time spent observed, and time spent with other animals; be sure to utilize all options to learn everything you can about your animals- or don't, and just watch them play!

Watch your cheetahs actually live in their space:
Cheetahs move around and pose based on their actual dispositions. Watch them Mingle, or toss a ball and watch them chase it down and pounce on it!

When you're ready, dive into real genetics:
The game tracks many genetic traits, and actual kinship between your animals! If your Family Tree gets too complicated, the game warns you before you breed two cheetahs that are too closely related- with real consequences for the litter if you go ahead anyway! Build up your studbook, watch your population's genetic diversity, and make breeding choices that actually mean something!

Bring your cheetahs together in Mingle Mode:
Provide basic care for your whole roster at once, and watch them interact as a group- observation time actually means something in this game!

No two cheetahs raise the same, so build a unique roster worth being proud of!

The game runs on a semi-real timescale:
-In regular mode: the first time you open the app each day causes time to progress. You have certain tasks that you have to do (feed, exercise, clean), and some optional ones (play, extra feed and exercise). The to-do list resets every 24-hours.
-In casual mode: skipping days does not matter. This means that you can open the app once every week, or once every three days, or once a month without losing your animals to neglect!

WHAT'S THE GOAL????
Some cheetahs are born with a striped pattern on their back as opposed to the typical spots - these are referred to as "King Cheetahs." In 2012, it was discovered that this is caused by a recessive gene carried by both parents (about a 1 in 1,000 chance - only 10 estimated living in the wild today). The main goal of this game, other than being a silly little cat game, is to try and purposely breed a King Cheetah using simulated lab tests, and real-world-inspired cheetah husbandry techniques.

Mostly it's just a silly little cat game, though.
Can you breed a King Cheetah?
