GIS4US Field — spatial-science tools that fit in your pocket, most of them fully offline.

GIS4US puts real GIS and remote-sensing tools into the hands of researchers, students and field workers with nothing but a phone — no desktop, no costly software. Capture ground truth, prepare areas of interest, convert coordinates and run satellite analytics on your own Google Earth Engine.

FIELD CAPTURE

GPS Stamp Camera — photos stamped with latitude/longitude, UTM, MGRS, EPSG, date/time and GPS accuracy. Verifiable field evidence, saved to your gallery.
GPS Coordinates — your exact position in decimal degrees, DMS, UTM, MGRS and EPSG; copy or share in one tap.
Field Conditions — live GPS fix quality, sun & daylight, compass, tilt, light and pressure (offline), plus weather and satellite-overpass timing when online. Log a timestamped snapshot.
Field Data Logger — record in-situ sensor readings and visual ground-truth points, each GPS- and time-stamped, exportable as QGIS-ready CSV.

GEOSPATIAL SUITE

Boundary Extractor — pull administrative boundaries for 240 countries and 4,596 states/provinces, or a custom lat/long AOI, and export Shapefile (.zip), GeoJSON or KML — offline.
Reproject (new) — transform a boundary or GeoJSON between coordinate systems (UTM, Web Mercator, equal-area or any EPSG) entirely on-device, with an honest before/after view and a transformation report: centre shift, grid convergence, point scale and geodesic area.
GEE Analytics — run cloud satellite indices (NDVI, water NDWI, built-up NDBI, land-surface temperature, nighttime lights) on your AOI under your OWN Google Earth Engine account — returning a map overlay, zonal statistics and a pixel histogram.

UTILITY TOOLS

Unit Conversion — area, distance, DD↔DMS coordinates, map-scale ground distance and pixel-to-ground area.
UTM Zone Finder — resolve the UTM zone, EPSG code, latitude band, MGRS grid and central meridian from any lat/long.
Sky Condition Logger — photograph the sky to estimate cloud cover on the WMO okta scale.
Seasonality Planner — find the best satellite-acquisition window for your target's growing season.

WORKS OFFLINE Every capture, conversion, boundary and reprojection tool works with no internet. Only GEE Analytics and live weather need a connection.

YOUR OWN EARTH ENGINE — NO THIRD-PARTY SERVER GIS4US never runs a cloud of its own. Satellite analytics run directly on your personal Google Earth Engine account and Cloud project, under your own quota. Your data stays yours.
