AppSwitcher – Quick App Switch for Taxi Drivers

AppSwitcher is designed specifically for taxi drivers. It lets you quickly switch between your favourite apps without returning to the home screen – just swipe on the edge of your screen.

Main Features

Gesture Switching – Swipe right on the left edge to go to the previous app, or swipe left on the right edge to go to the next app.
Voice Prompts (Optional) – The app announces the app name aloud when you switch. Supports English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Custom Names – Rename each selected app to make it easier to identify at a glance.
Smart Filtering – Automatically filters out system apps and widgets, showing only launchable apps.
Flexible Configuration – Select between 2 and 6 apps. Long‑press the floating area to quickly open settings.

One Google Account, One Device
For security and fair usage, each Google account can be active on only one device at a time. If you try to use the same account on another device, AppSwitcher will notify you and prevent the floating window from starting on the second device.

Subscription Details

AppSwitcher offers a 7‑day free trial so you can experience all features. After the trial ends, you can subscribe to continue using the full functionality.

- Price: HKD 30 per month
- Free Trial: First‑time subscribers get a 7‑day free trial. Your subscription will auto‑renew after the trial ends.
- Auto‑renewal:Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto‑renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Billing: Renewal charges will be deducted from your Google Play account within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage Subscription: After purchase, you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in **Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions.

Required Permissions

Floating Window Permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)– Needed to display the switching area on top of other apps.
Query All Apps Permission (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES)– Used to show the list of installed apps so you can choose which ones to add to your switcher. The app list is stored only locally on your device and is never uploaded.
