About this app

MapMySound is a soundscape recording and mapping app for capturing the world as it sounds. Record ambient sounds, music, conversations, and nature — anywhere — and each recording is automatically tagged with its location, temperature, and humidity.

Every sound you capture appears on a global map, so you can explore recordings from cities, coastlines, and communities around the world — or revisit your own sound memories exactly where you made them.

Start recording immediately — no account required. Record as a guest, and when you're ready, sign in to save your sounds to your account automatically.

Features:
• Record and geo-tag sounds anywhere, even without an account
• View the walking path of every recording on a map
• Analyze sound with a live spectrogram and decibel readout
• Browse a global map of soundscapes recorded by users worldwide
• Bookmark, share, and organize your favorite sounds
• Upload, download, and revisit your recordings anytime

Whether you're a field recordist, a traveler, or simply curious what the world sounds like, MapMySound turns every walk into a sound map worth remembering.
