Classic Notepad is a feature rich and Powerful Notepad app that saves .TXT Files in the same way as you used create to in Computers.

We have added all the important features of classic Text Editors in this app to make you feel like you are making TXT Format text file in your Laptop or PC.

Like Classic notepad Editors, you will find Open file and New File options with Save and Save as file choices in the File menu.

There are a number of Toolbar choices including Undo or Redo functions and buttons to Perform Cut Copy Paste operations.

Text Search Function has Find word feature with Find Next option and Go to option.

App also has Insert Time and date feature and Sliders options for Zoom in Zoom out.

Editing options include Font Alignment and change text size with slider, Text Shadow feature with Font styles and Strike through options.

You choose to Show or Hide line in the notepad and change to space between horizontal lines of notepad using Line spacing feature

Select text and Word wrapping features to make the text editing easy and simple.

I'd rather pay $2-10 for a full version that gets rid of advertisements. That being said, please keep the version with ads so that we can test it before we purchase it. Use the money you get from the purchase to invest in autosaves and a "history" function that saves all changes made to a document. Overall it is a very good app and it works perfectly as a TXT document editor with all the basic features I need and none of the extra fluff that would slow it down, but I definitely want history.

This is a very interesting editor. It has so many nice tools in a clean easy format. Font resizing, font styles, it even has adjustable line spacing. Can save files to internal folders and share files externally. My reason for 4 not 5 stars is that formatting is for the whole document. I can't bold or italicize one word, it applies to the whole document. That's the same for text alignment. I can't center align one line, it centers the whole document. Otherwise, very easy to use. Thank you.

Happy. I finally found a Notepad app that's brilliant in its simplicity to Open and Edit existing TXT files, Save them as TXT files, create New and Save As... Can search inside document using Find - although a bug in Match Case. App creates a Recent Files list. An additional nice feature is Font Size (Zoom) and Font Style...although only to set as a default for all your text files but can be changed as needed. In other words, you can't use different font styles or sizes within the same document.
