About this app

Photograph the target when the relay is over, or point the camera at it while you shoot. STS finds every hole, measures it against the ring geometry of the competition target you selected, and scores it under the rules of the match you are shooting. You get the total, the shot-by-shot breakdown, the shape of your group, and the sight correction that would put the next group in the middle.

HOW IT WORKS
- Pick course of fire: target face and distance follow from it
- Tap four corners of a card, which tying pixels to millimeters
- Score from a photo or live from camera as string builds

NOTES:
STS is a training and practice aid. Official results are decided by the jury under the rulebook in force. ISSF target dimensions come from the published tables; the American, F-Class, practical and national-federation figures are the commonly published ones, are marked in the app as needing a check, and are all editable. The detector cannot see a shot that missed the target altogether. It can be fooled: every hole can be corrected by hand, and doubtful ones are flagged rather than quietly counted.

PRIVACY
Everything happens on the device. No account, no sign-in, no upload, no analytics, no advertising. Your photographs and your scores stay on your phone.

SAFETY
Operate the app only from behind the firing line, with the firearm made safe and the range in a condition the range officer permits.

FINAL NOTE:
This application is still in active development and there are chances that it may mis-behave and produce wrong results. Please bear with us to go though the hurdles to produce the final version. You are certainly welcomed to provide comments, suggestions and error reports.

What’s new

This revision includes several corrections to user interface, improves hole detection on both images and live camera images of real shooting targets, extends also the catalogues of firearms, ammunition and shooting targets.

NOTE: this application is still in ongoing development. Hence it may exhibit occasionally unexpected behaviors, not recognize targets or miss some hits.
