About this game

The Jotun, ancient giants and sworn enemies of the gods, have seized the Nine Realms. As a Viking hero and commander, it’s your destiny to rebuild and defend your lands.

This game blends Tower Defense (TD), Base Defense, and light RTS strategy.
Each level challenges you to construct a new village and prepare your army.

By day, gather resources and build defenses around your castle and village.
By nightfall, take direct control of your Viking hero and lead your army into battle against the enemy invaders.

Every run offers new roguelike perks and temporary boosts, changing how your Tower Defense strategy plays out. Unlock new heroes, weapons, and gear, each with unique abilities and playstyles.

Ratings and reviews

The game feels very balanced with all the upgrades and abilities. I feel like the Baldr ability needs to be nerfed or or others. Still need to play around gear combos. One of my new favorites. Looking forward to new levels very soon Edit: I'd highy recommend you to edit the challenge levels, to need all challenges on to get all the rewards. Once i figured that out the game became extremely easy to 100 percent.

It's fun. Reminiscent of Kingdom Rush but with a build economy, hero customization, and roguelike upgrades all combined. I just started and am on the first few levels but I anticipate hitting a "wall" eventually where I'll need to grind upgrades before having the strength to finish a level but that's what these games are about. Having a turn on/offable helpful hints option in the beginning for newer players aside from the tutorial might help newer players adjust to genre of the game quicker.

After playing every game this studio's released over the years, I can by far say that this is the most creative one by far. Props to them for such a great game! Edit: One request, and that is to add Swedish / Norwegian language options (helvette med Dansk), as the regions are kinda the origin of vikings. Besides, very fun game to grind and play for a 10-minute break. Still 5/5.
