Pretty much the perfect casual, on the spot game. You have to think to get far, but you don't have to think too far ahead; all your descisions are right in front of you. Makes it easier to both keep playing and stop when you want to. Completely non-predatory. Only the occasional ad that you can make go away forever with a small, one time purchase. Easy recommendation.

I love this game, and I'm hoping that the developers continue to work on it. It's more strategic than their previous games, but still very friendly for the mobile format. It requires you to really think about the consequences of your play, and one bad move can bring your session to an abrupt halt. That said, despite the roguelike format it never seems unfair, and there's almost always a way to get past seemingly impossible obstacles. Really looking forward to more content, would love to see a daily challenge. Right now there's not much to do but unlock the different character classes and cards. But there's a ton of potential here with a really engaging mechanic. Buy the ad-free upgrade, it's a steal.

Fun game! A good successor to Dungeon Cards. Here's my wish list for the developer: 1. The ability to change the active inventory item while the effect of the previous action is ongoing. Sometimes i try to act too fast between animations and it doesn't change items, which causes me to use the wrong item. 2. An option to make it not automatically progress the level when all items are used, but the card swap hasn't been used yet.
