Peary is an app that allows users to scan or type in a food product bar-code and provides essential nutritional information based on the code using information from USDA and OpenFoodFacts databases. Additionally, the FDA tab lists most recent FDA recalled products in user's selected state. Finally, the DRI (Daily Reference Intake) tab provides user with recommended values of vitamins, elements, and macronutrients depending on user's life-stage.
