Terrible, it continually prompts you to do things while driving, minimizes your maps and causes actual driving danger and distractions. Will not let you exit the app will not let you continue without agreeing to pages of fine print all while trying to get somewhere in your car. Not ideal for an app for people who want to drive safer.

If you are having all kinds of connection problems, also install the JVC Smartphone Control app. After doing that I didn't have any problems and things started working as I'd expect. Was so frustrated for over a year with webkink as I couldn't get it to reliably work and multiple phones. Using my Pixel 2 with Android Q is working fine now.

In all fairness, I bought the JVC KW-V640BT and I could not be happier with it. It is a very clean sounding head unit with a lot of home audio features to fine tune the sound. Also keep in mind that JVC did not write the Weblink APP but agreed to use it. The problem I am having issues with is the same APP everyone else is complaining about. The JVC Weblink app. I have not had any connection issues, but the APP is basically useless. The only apps the weblink has that are slightly useful and will display on the screen are the YouTube app and the Yelp app. The map it displays is worthless. WAZE will play through the speakers but will not display and I have to have the JVC connected to Weblink to do that plus I can’t listen to anything else while the WAZE is running. Why do I need Weblink when I can listen to WAZE through the JVC Bluetooth? I took Weblink off of my phone. It was just useless and just took up room on my phone. I can’t believe that some company spent time and money to researched and developed such a useless app and THEN RELEASE IT.
