these places are not abandoned, theyre just run down junk. there are many actual abandoned places in my area thar aren't here.

Some spots might feel more “run down” than fully abandoned — definitions can vary a lot depending on the place. We try to review submissions, but we also rely on the community to keep things accurate 🏚️
If you know better spots in your area, feel free to add them or report the ones that don’t fit 👍

What you’re seeing is likely the ad shown on app open — it helps us cover server and map costs. That said, it shouldn’t feel intrusive or block usage.

probably the best app for finding abandoned places. some of the images don't load but apart from that it's really good.

Glad you’re enjoying the app! For the images, some older ones might not load, but we’re currently cleaning those up. New uploads should work fine (check the FEED for the latest spots 📸).
