About this app

Able2Love is a dating app for disabled people, and for the people who genuinely want to date them.

I built it because dating apps have never really been made with us in mind. If you're disabled, you know the drill. You either leave things out and hope they don't come up too soon, or you're honest from the start and watch the conversations go quiet. It shouldn't be that way, so I made somewhere that works differently.

This is a place where you're welcome exactly as you are, and where the people looking for you are here for the right reasons. Not out of pity. Not as a favour. Because they see someone worth loving.

A few of the things that make it different.

Profiles built around you. Share as much or as little about your access needs as you like, in your own words. There's proper space for the things that usually get missed, so you're not repeating yourself in every new chat.

Get to know the person first, if you choose to. It's an optional setting you can turn on or off any time. With it on, only someone's first photo shows at first, and the rest come into focus as you talk. Prefer to see everything up front? That's fine too. It's your call.

An energy status on every profile. Some days you're up for it, some days you're not. A short reply feels a lot less like rejection when you can see that someone is simply having a low day.

Date planning that thinks about access. When you're ready to meet, the app finds cafes, bars and restaurants near you and shows which ones are step free and have accessible toilets and parking. No more ringing ahead to ask.

Talk in whatever way suits you. Text, voice notes, or video calls that work well for sign language.

Safety and kindness built in. Profiles can be verified with a photo, you can report or block from anywhere, and if a message starts heading somewhere unkind, the app steps in before it is sent.

Able2Love is made and looked after by one person who genuinely cares about getting this right. When you send feedback, it reaches me, and it shapes what comes next. This is only the beginning, and I would love you to be part of it.

Come as you are. That's the whole point.

Able2Love. Love without limits.
