Able2Love is the dating app built for disabled people, and for everyone open enough to want us.
I built it because people like me get judged before we have said a word, for what we sit in and how we look. So I made dating work differently. Here, who you are arrives before your photo does.
It is for disabled people, wheelchair users, deaf and hard of hearing daters, blind and low vision people, neurodivergent people, anyone with a chronic illness or an invisible disability, and for the people who genuinely want to meet them.
New ways to meet, not just swiping:
• The Feed, say your piece on the day's talking points and meet whoever makes you smile
• Talk To Me, put your phone down and let the app introduce people out loud, browse and match entirely by voice
• Blind Date, a voice call with someone compatible, photos locked until you both want more
• Here Now, see who is genuinely around you, when you choose to be found
• Tonight, an open room every evening, just people talking
Made to be used by everyone:
• Type to Speak in calls, so someone who cannot use their voice can still go on a voice date
• See the person first, their photos gently come into focus as you actually talk
• An energy status, so a slow reply reads as a low day, not a rejection
• A date planner that finds step free, accessible venues near you
• Voice notes, and sign friendly, captioned calls throughout
• Works with your screen reader, VoiceOver and TalkBack, and follows your phone's own text size
Kind by design, a gentle nudge before anything cruel is sent, and a hard stop on hate.
