Ratings and reviews

The app is unreliable, slow, not user-friedly. And the it seems that solving the issue is not a priority for the bank. Like most users, I have to "Force stop" the app before opening it for it tto work, and most of the time I cannot login at night. I cannot image how you can use this app daily. I have to use other apps like Blink to pay with my Absa account.

Very frustrating experience with this banking app. The biggest issue is that the OTP system frequently doesn't work. I often never received the OTP, or it arrived too late to be useful, making it impossible to log in or complete transactions. For a banking app, this is unacceptable. Customer support is very bad.

The best digital bank's app needs some serious work. App keeps running in the background and needs to be forced stopped to be accessed again, it will also say you are offline when you are clearly online and switching on and off the wifi helps navigate this issue. The mobile app is supposed to facilitate online banking and not make it a chore.
