Ratings and reviews

The ABSA banking app is excellent. It makes it very easy to do payments to various vendors, buy airtime, etc from the comfort of your home. It is user friendly and a must have for every ABSA customer. If you don't have it on your smartphone, go to your nearest ABSA bank and have them set it up for you. It's guaranteed to make your life a lot more easier.

The worst banking app. The chatbot is a brick and it's so easy to take out a loan but no where can you see how to pay it back except seeing the acc.no which doesn't help if you don't have the balance. -5 stars if I could Paying Sanlam, I created a beneficiary. As I try to pay, it cancels my attempt and says it's a ABSA listed beneficiary. So it changes the setup and then as I go ahead to pay, the app says I have already loaded the beneficiary and then wants me to make a payment to the created bf

The ABSA app is very good. One suggestion would be to allow for an easier way to identify beneficiaries on the list instead of placing everyone under the same name, for example Standard Bank card beneficiaries all are listed under SB Card. Another suggestion is to build a list of accounts to pay every month.
