The ABSA banking app is excellent. It makes it very easy to do payments to various vendors, buy airtime, etc from the comfort of your home. It is user friendly and a must have for every ABSA customer. If you don't have it on your smartphone, go to your nearest ABSA bank and have them set it up for you. It's guaranteed to make your life a lot more easier.

Great app, very efficient, the only things I feel could be improved 1. Its tendency to fail logging in, it has left me stranded in emergencies 2. You could make transfering money to a new recipient a little safer by making it so that the name of the recipient appears after you type in their account number, as opposed to having to make 100% sure that the details you entered are correct & having to type in the recipient's names yourself...it makes me nervous not being able to confirm beforehand

I have my ABSA app on two devices but for the past week I have not been able to access my account from either device. An error appears saying, "We apologise, there was a technical error on our side. Please try again later. Unable to resolve host "ib.absa.co.za": No address associated with hostname" I don't understand what's going on. When could I expect this to be resolved?
