About this app

ACLSMED Simulator turns Android tablets into a complete clinical training rig. One tablet becomes the patient monitor, defibrillator and pacer. Another becomes the instructor remote that drives the scenario. Add an infusion pump, a ventilator and a six-station CPR skills test, and one classroom runs a full code.

Built for nursing schools, paramedic programs, residency simulation labs and continuing-education ACLS courses. Aligned with AHA 2025 guidelines (effective March 2026).

FIVE ROLES - PICK ONE PER TABLET

- MONITOR - Patient monitor with six live channels: ECG, arterial line, pulmonary artery, CVP, SpO2 and EtCO2, plus NIBP, temperature and respiratory rate. Integrated defibrillator with energy select, charge, shock and AED analysis with spoken prompts, and a transcutaneous pacer with capture. On-screen 12-lead viewer, chest X-ray, and labs (ABG, BMP, CBC, cardiac markers, coags).

- INSTRUCTOR - The educator's control panel. Drive every vital sign with sliders, switch among 47 rhythms, load any of 33 MegaCode scenarios, toggle CPR, and push a 12-lead, X-ray or lab panel to the monitor. A mirror strip shows exactly what the student sees.

- CPR SIMULATOR - A six-station CPR skills test on one tablet. Up to six students place a phone running the free ACLSMED CPR app on a training manikin's chest and compress. A two-minute timed test shows a live quality bar for each student, then a scored debrief: rate, depth and hands-on fraction per student, a focus area for each, and a class leaderboard.

- IVMED - Dual-channel infusion pump trainer with a 61-drug library filtered by clinical care area, weight-based dosing, and soft and hard limit alerts.

- RESPMED - Ventilator trainer with nine modes (AC/VC, SIMV/VC, PRVC, AC/PC, SIMV/PC, PSV, CPAP, BiPAP, APRV), live pressure, flow and volume waveforms, lung pathologies and ABG interpretation.

HOW THE ROOM CONNECTS

Tablets discover each other automatically over your local Wi-Fi network and stay in lockstep with signed messages. Once paired, the simulation runs on-device - there is no cloud round-trip for clinical commands.

WORKS WITH ACLSMED CPR (FREE)

ACLSMED CPR is our free companion phone app for manikin practice. It measures compression rate, depth zone and hands-on time. On its own it scores solo practice; paired, it powers the CPR Simulator test and drives the monitor's compression artefact and the code debrief.

ACLSMED Simulator requires a plan, purchased in the app as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription or a one-time lifetime licence:

Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. One account activates every tablet in your bundle.

What’s new

Choose Imperial or Metric on first launch, or any time from settings. °F/lb/in with mg/dL labs, or °C/kg/cm with mmol/L. Temperature, weight, height and the whole lab panel switch together, and both tablets stay in sync.

All 33 MegaCode cases now open with a spoken EMS handoff. The last four are recorded: septic shock, submassive PE, TCA overdose and post ROSC.

Pressing play now closes the case list and opens that patient's chart.
