A great app to practice mindfulness, pursue your goals and values, and handle the challenging fears and thoughts that our mind may repeatedly throw at us.
I find this app really helpful, and the design is appealing. I think the meditations and the reminders would be useful for anyone but I'm not sure I'd recommend the other activities for people who aren't familiar with ACT.
This app helps me remember to be present, to open up, and do what matters.
So helpful for regular mindfulness
This app is a great tool in helping me to calm my mine. The notifications are helpful throughout the day especially when you do not realise when stressful moments start to build up. My only negative comment stems from not being able to change the frequency of the notifications. The screen is blank when selecting it from the menu.
It really is a great companion to the Happiness Trap book and/or therapy with a fully qualified ACT therapist. Helped me lots by structuring my experiential learning through the range of exercises included in app, therefore I've been putting together the 6 broad areas that ACT covers. I remain open, aware and active. The self-ratings of openness to thoughts and feelings are useful, as reflections following exercises, but I especially like the Actometer to check out how psychologically flexible I am in dealing with life's challenges. Well done with app!!
