This app helped me finally get in shape I'd given up on running twice before in the past, because I'd push myself to the absolute limit before slowing to a walk. The pacing on this app made running no longer an arbitrary value, but let me see definite improvement.
GPS Way Off Worked the first couple of workouts. Today it said I only walked .80 miles total when I've been doing the same route for 3 weeks, which isn't .80 miles. I have no idea if I'm progressing or not.
I like the app in that it's pretty simple. I don't need too many bells and whistles. My biggest gripe is that the GPS doesn't work too well. I've started using runkeeper alongside this app to track the GPS. Today's run, for instance, runkeeper managed to keep track of the extra 1.5 kilometers that this app lost.
GPS doesn't work since Aug 9th update As you see all the other reviews saying, it hasn't worked since August 9th. I really enjoy tracking my average pace during running but can't track anything at all now. It gives a long straight line where it loses the GPS. I am still using the app for the run/walk training, but I have to track the total distance with my car after the run. I've emailed customer support but it is still broke. Once fixed I'll update my review to 5 stars.
Fix the GPS already I love the program, the interface is nice, but why does the GPS have to be out by multiple kilometers on every single workout? No other tracking app is anywhere near this bad... come on, guys, you cando better!
GPS tracking is awful After 2 weeks of swearing about the gps, I decided to run MapMyRun in parallel to this app. MapMyRun tracked me on my run the whole way, for the entire 2.25 miles. This app had me cutting through woods, houses and streams, then had me dropping off the map 3/4 of the way through for a 1.3 mile run. That's just awful. If the running group I'm in wasn't all using this app. I'd drop it in a heart beat.
