About this app

Actuflow is the app that prompts you to write the purpose of usage every time when you unlock your phone. That's it! The app is as simple as it sounds. Of course, it doesn't lock your phone completely, it just shows you a pop-up window after each unlock with input form. You may skip purpose writing and you will be able to check how many times you skipped purpose input on the statistics tab.
Actuflow is more intentional way to use your phone. It is not about app blocking or screen time limits. It helps the user to think twice before picking up their phones.
This simple pop up window after phone unlock can save you hours of time that you can spend in social media rabbit holes.
Actuflow may help you with:
* Being more productive and focused when you work. Just turn on Actuflow mode when you work and you can forget about phone distractions because Actuflow will remind you to double-check your usage intention.
* Starting using your phone less and decrease your screen time! That's not a big effort to write a sentence before using your phone, but it is a great commitment to using your phone only for meaningful reasons.
* Gain healthy usage habits.
Actuflow helps people to be more intentional and use their phones as useful tools.
Additionally, Actuflow has:
* Purpose reminder feature. Notification that will remind you why you unlocked your phone.
* Tracking purpose input skip
* Daily and Weekly stats
* Intention history
Challenge your phone usage with Actuflow. Check how intentional and healthy is your phone usage!

this is sooo close to what i am looking for but not quite. i would love a feature that allows you to set an intention each time you open an app, not just unlock your phone. being able to toggle which apps (ie. social media, youtube) ask you for a prompt would be awesome. it's kind of annoying to be asked to set an intention for stuff that is already mindful and responsible like music, maps, or texting.

A great app for staying on track and making sure you're not wasting time on your phone! It's easy to get on your phone and end up 30 minutes later scrolling through Instagram wondering why you were on your phone in the first place. The only thing I would change is a feature to disable the app from certain hours. For example, I unlock my phone every few minutes at the gym to see the next workout, so it would be nice if I could have it not ask me each time from say, 7am - 8am when I'm working out.

While I enjoy the idea, I am not sure how many times I just press "dismiss", I think somethings need to change, for starters, have the options when you open the phone to just select an app you want to use, instead of typing it, and I think there should also be "scheduled sessions" where if you lift the phone during those hours it'll have that pop-up, otherwise, the idea is pretty solid, and I can't wait to see what else can be implemented with the all.
