Two halves of one job: deciding what to buy, and turning what you bought into a listing.
IN THE AISLE
One photograph, ten seconds. Lot gives you a buy-or-walk read: what the item appears to be, a resale band, and a walk-away number, meaning the most you should pay today after fees and postage. When the value hangs on something a photograph cannot settle, like a signature or a hallmark, Lot prices both cases and names the test that would settle it. It is willing to tell you to put the thing back.
AT THE TABLE
Shoot the lot properly and Lot writes the catalogue record: item, brand, era, materials, condition grade, the measurements you still need to take by hand, a price band and what that band rests on. From that one reading it composes listings for seven marketplaces, each with the title length, tag rules and voice that marketplace expects. Switching between them is instant and works with no signal.
THE PLATE
Background cleanup runs on your device, using segmentation rather than a generative model. Your item is cut out and set on a clean sweep with a drawn contact shadow. Every pixel of the item is a pixel of your own photograph, so nothing is invented and no flaw is quietly smoothed away. No key, no network, no cost, unlocked or not.
CONDITION
Flaws are found, graded minor to significant, and bracketed on the photograph itself, each with a plain disclosure sentence you can paste straight into a listing. Honest condition reporting is cheaper than returns.
THE BOX
A shipping weight estimate, a box hint, a fragile flag and a printable packing slip.
WHAT YOU NEED
Lot runs on your own Google Gemini API key, which you create free at Google AI Studio. The app walks you through it on first run. Readings are billed to your key by Google rather than through this app, and the free tier covers ordinary use. Your key is stored only on your device.
WHAT IT COSTS
Five lots free. After that, one purchase unlocks unlimited cataloguing for good. No subscription, no advertising, no account to make.
PRIVACY
Photographs are sent to Google's Gemini API to be read and are not kept afterwards. There is no server behind this app. Your lots, photographs and key live in the app's own storage on your phone, and go when you delete them or uninstall.
Estimates are estimates. A photograph is thin evidence: it cannot weigh silver, smell mildew or authenticate a signature. Treat every number here as the start of your own research, not as an appraisal.
Lot is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any marketplace or company named in the app.
