# Learn Lifo

For many years, the Bafaw community has recognized the urgent need to preserve and revitalize the Lifo language. Today, many children of Bafaw heritage grow up unable to speak their ancestral language, placing an important part of the community's cultural identity at risk.

Learn Lifo was created to help reverse this trend.

Unlike traditional language programs that focus mainly on reading and writing, Learn Lifo emphasizes the way languages are naturally acquired: through listening, speaking, repetition, and practice. Just as previous generations learned Lifo by hearing and speaking with family and community members, Learn Lifo helps learners develop real communication skills through words, phrases, pronunciation, and everyday expressions.
