Lockit helps you add an extra layer of privacy on your Android device. Lock selected apps with a PIN, pattern, or fingerprint (on supported devices), and keep personal photos and videos in a private vault.
Key features
App Lock: Lock apps like social, messaging, gallery, settings, and more.
Photo & Video Vault: Import photos/videos into a private space inside Lockit to reduce casual access.
Multiple unlock methods: Use Pattern, PIN, or Fingerprint (if your device supports biometrics).
Intruder Alert (optional): When enabled, Lockit can take a photo after repeated failed unlock attempts (requires camera permission).
Anti-peek options (optional): Randomized keypad and the option to hide pattern traces to reduce shoulder-surfing.
Decoy screen (optional): Show a neutral/decoy screen to help reduce casual snooping.
Themes: Personalize the lock screen style.
Notes & limitations
Lockit is not a replacement for your phone’s system screen lock. For best protection, keep Android screen lock enabled.
Behavior can vary by device manufacturer and Android version.
Permissions & privacy
To lock apps reliably, Lockit may request system permissions such as Accessibility, Usage Access, and/or Display over other apps (depending on Android version and device). These permissions are used to detect when a protected app is opened and to show the Lockit lock screen—not to read your messages, keystrokes, or screen content.
Camera permission is only used if you turn on Intruder Alert, and you can disable it anytime.
