About this app

Workliner is an app for auto repair shops that helps keep customer appointments, service bays, technicians, online booking requests, work reports, invoices, payouts, and analytics under control.

When a shop runs on calls, chats, spreadsheets, and sticky notes, the workflow starts to break down. The appointment exists, but the open bay is unclear. The technician is working, but the report is buried in a message thread. The job is finished, but the invoice and technician payout still have to be handled separately.

Workliner connects those steps in one shop workflow — from booking request to closed job.

Not just a calendar for your shop

In auto repair, scheduling is not only about choosing a date and time. You also need to account for the location, service bay, technician, service duration, and current workload.

Workliner lets you view appointments by location and service bay in a timeline or list view. You can see booked slots, open windows, and customers who are ready to come in earlier. When creating an appointment, the app checks for time conflicts on the selected bay.

Detailed customer appointments

Add the start and end time, location, service bay, services and prices, technician, customer name and phone number, vehicle, VIN, year, mileage, estimated duration, and notes.

For returning customers, Workliner can detect a match in your company history and help fill in customer details faster.

Locations, bays, and team access

Set up your company, working hours, shop locations, service bays, and services. Add employees, assign roles for owner, service advisor/admin, or technician, connect employees to locations, and provide login details.

Online booking through QR and link

Each location can have a public booking link and QR code. Show the QR code to customers, copy the link, or print the code.

Incoming online booking requests appear in the app. You can review them, decline them, or turn them into full appointments.

Work progress and customer reports

Appointments have clear statuses: pending, in progress, completed, and canceled. Inside an appointment, you can update the status and mark individual services as completed.

Technicians can add job reports with text, photos, and videos. Share the report with a customer through a link when you need to show progress, explain work, or send the result without sorting through multiple chats.

Invoices and repair orders

Create an invoice or repair order from an appointment with labor, parts, fees, currency, tax, discount, totals, draft mode, issuing, PDF preview, and customer sending.

Technician payouts

For a completed appointment, you can calculate a technician payout and set its status: not calculated, calculated, or paid. You can also add the amount, payout date, and comment.

Each employee profile shows amounts that are not calculated yet, ready to be paid, and already paid.

Owner analytics

Workliner helps owners see the shop beyond the daily schedule. Track average ticket, weekly revenue, cancellations, lost revenue, top services, leading employees and locations, and a shop utilization heatmap.

Who Workliner is for

Workliner is built for auto repair shop owners, service advisors, technicians, and service businesses with locations, service bays, and regular customer appointments.
