ALSChat is a free communication board (AAC — augmentative and alternative communication) for people with ALS or any condition that limits speech and fine motor control. Spell out full sentences using whichever input method still works for you.

TWO WAYS TO TYPE
• Manual — tap or click letters directly, for anyone with reliable hand or switch control.
• Semi-automatic — the board scans each letter in turn; close your eyes briefly to select. No precise pointing needed.

BUILT FOR REAL CONVERSATIONS
• Quick phrases and word suggestions speed up common sentences.
• A history log lets you or a caregiver reuse or replay anything you've typed before.
• Built-in text-to-speech reads your message aloud the moment you're ready.
