This intuitive application links to a powerful communication system where you can send messages/attachments to smartphones and other devices.

Users require all file access permission to upload the attachments in the app to share them with the hospital staff. The file upload feature is one of the most critical features of the app as users need to share key information like images, code alerts, patient updates, test results, consult requests, etc.

Ratings and reviews

There are several things that make this app difficult to use. 1- This app is not very compatible with Android phones. During business hours, if there is a page for an emergency, all iPhones will get the page first. My phone is usually 1-3 minutes delayed. (with my old and my new phone). 2- Recently, while on call my pages were 17 minutes and 25 minutes delayed. This is a huge issue as I have a 30 minutes return to work policy. 3-put on silent while not on-call, it will ring as a notification.

Sometimes continues with notifications even after being opened, which is VERY annoying. Have to force stop the app to get it to quit the notification. And the app hasn't been updated since 2021 ("for Android 12"). Biggest request: an easy-to-set "Do not disturb" mode (e.g. for home) that's separate from the phone's settings. My decades-old pager has this - WHY NOT THE APP? An unanswered overnight page kills my battery!!!

This thing is obviously half baked and never tested on Android phones. Sometimes I don't get a page unless I open the app. Sending a message simply doesn't work. Sometimes when I get a page the app will stay in my pull down notification area and unlike other apps can't be dismissed by swiping away. When you copy the text contents of a message it doesn't actually copy anything even though it says it did. You can't ever respond to a message because it doesn't have a sender. In a word: awful.
