KnowYourDrive helps you learn safer driving habits and gives you more control over how much you pay for car insurance.

After each household driver downloads the app at no cost, you’ll receive an introductory car insurance discount. The app then continues to monitor your driving behavior and show your progress, so you can keep learning and adjust your driving habits accordingly.

The app displays your discount, trip details, safe driving tips and keeps track of your streak of distraction-free trips. Additional detail is provided on your driving versus others who have the app.

And depending on how you drive, your policy will earn a program discount on your car insurance. Nice!

I literally never have my phone out while I'm driving, yet I constantly get dinged for distracted driving. Sometimes I do use it while I'm sitting in my driveway or when I get to my destination, but those should not be counted. It also dings me for hard breaks when I literally never do that. It also records me driving when I'm a passenger, and sometimes I just remove the trip because I know it's wrong. May not look good, but it's a bad app. Definitely needs some serious changes!

App is garbage. It incorrectly flags "distracted driving" status while my GPS is running and the phone is stationary on the dash. If I don't remember to go and edit the trip, it resets my current streak. My discount dropped to 2% because of this. Pretty useless if it can't do it's only job correctly. I can't even buy a soda with my "savings". Not worth having an insturive app on your phone for so little benefit.

Horribly built app. Pretty much like all the other 1 star reviews. It will start you out blocks if not a few miles from where you strarted, hard brakes "dings" are always in the same spot even if you dont break, app constantly runs and drains the phone, Everytime i drive it goes on my wife's, and its stupid that i have to constantly switch it to me driving. pretty much not worth the so called "discounts" you get. Hire someone that knows how to make an app. Just horrible.
