Use of the Accessibility Service
AntiBet Alerta uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect access to gambling websites in supported browsers and on pages opened inside certain apps.
The Accessibility Service may access:
• The text in the address bar or URL of a supported browser.
• The name and package identifier of the foreground app.
• The interface structure needed to identify the browser’s address bar.
For its app-blocking feature, the app also checks the list of apps installed on the device. This information is used to display available apps, allow you to choose which apps to monitor or block, and identify when compatible gambling apps are opened.
This data is used exclusively to detect gambling websites and apps, display an intervention, and record the event locally. The list of installed apps is not sent to the developer’s servers.
The app does not seek out or store passwords, messages, conversations, banking information, form fields, page content, feeds, posts, photos, contacts, or information typed into other apps.
Alerts and support partner
With your authorization, AntiBet Alerta may send an email alert to the address you configure or to a trusted person.
The alert may contain only the identified domain or app name, the time, and basic information about the intervention. You decide whether to enable this feature.
