I've been using it for about 6 months now. Wouldn't say its 100% accurate, but as far as I know it doesn't claim to be. But I can follow the phases and activity times and its been pretty close. Free version, not so much, but pro was definitely worth the upgrade. Useful features and it helps me plan ahead. Must have for hunter or fisherman with a reliable network.
Pro version is a must to be usefull. It is very accurate for what it does. It will not give you years of experience understanding how weather, moon phases, temperature etc interact with the "bite". Nor does it explain thermocline/oxygen or how to properly pick colors or present bait/lure. The statements about it not working are simply untrue. It's a tool, a good one, recommended.
I have been using this app for over two years. Phases of the moon, tides and weather...all in there. As a life-long fisherman, I understand that fishing is never guaranteed--that's why it's called fishing, not catching--no one thing lands fish. I will say this, though: this app is 100% worth the purchase price. Having another tool to help you land those biggies is always a good thing.
Great presentation of data! Easy to quickly scroll to future days. Wish the "add places" worked by name search instead of having to move/zoom and pick on the map. The 'Select' vs check-mark gets me confused every time.
I had never fished or hunted based on a lunar chart before downloading this app last year. I didn't base whether I went or not on the app but paid attention to what the app said was peak times. I compared that to game movement and fish activity. Seems fairly accurate. Great additional tool to watch!
It's a nice general plan for a day of fishing. But our local park lake is werid when it's in the 50%&up range fishing is horrible but anything below that we slay them. So you have to learn how to read the body of water your on
