This is horrible today when someone else takes over and now I can't remove or uninstall and I want them to not have control on my pc.

Finally got it to work. You need to "consent" to let it work. From the menu, go to Setup and look for "Plugin AD1" under the Incoming Connections section. Tap it and then you can consent. It really should offer that consent prompt when tapping the remote control icon, rather than just mentioning that you need to consent (which makes it sound like it will prompt).
