About this app

Aoidos turns your documents into natural speech — entirely on your phone.

FREE FOREVER
Aoidos is free. No subscription, no account, no watermark. Built by fntAInhead as a free companion to Temprio (our paid focus app).

ON-DEVICE BY DESIGN
• Your files stay on the device
• Speech is synthesized locally with Kokoro (open-source, Apache 2.0)
• No cloud upload of document text for TTS
• The voice model downloads once (~320 MB) and is reused offline

LISTEN WHILE YOU GO
• Progressive sections: start listening while later audio prepares
• Background preparation with progress % and time estimates
• Lock-screen controls, Bluetooth / headset media keys
• Adjustable speed and multiple natural voices

WHAT YOU CAN IMPORT
• PDF (text layer)
• DOCX
• Markdown and plain text
• Camera scan + on-device OCR for photos and many scans

NOT SUPPORTED
• EPUB and commercial ebooks (excluded on purpose)

ALSO FROM FNTAINHEAD
If you like Aoidos, try Temprio — priority tasks that re-rank so you always know what to do next. Temprio Pro is a one-time unlock (not required for Aoidos).

Aoidos is free software from fntAInhead. Import a document, tap play, and listen hands-free.
Listen to PDFs and documents offline with natural on-device speech.
