Works to lock access but can be circumvented by rebooting. I have this on two of my phones and while it works well to lock the apps I designated, when my phone is rebooted there's a gap of vulnerability where everything is unlocked (about two minutes) until the AppLock service starts up and the lock code is put in place. EG I lock the App store on my kid phone to prevent reinstalling TT they just reboot and get access. Otherwise, I am very pleased with how easy and intuitive it is to use.

This is a small handly app with a nice user interface, but it's just not able to safeguard our privacy, as the contents of the apps are still visible while scrolling through the background apps. The user won't be able to open the content, unless they just uninstall this app, but still get a sneek peek into your files with thumbnails. These 3rd party privacy apps don't work very well and should be avoided, unless you can't get this via the OS updates in your device.

Not too good. Depending the reason of use, there is one slight flaw that my 12 yo has worked out. If an app is locked eg messages and someone else inputs the pin/pattern/fingerprint in incorrect, you can just press the recent app button at the bottom of your screen (where you can see a preview of recently opened app) and you are able to see read the first few lines of a message. This then also applies to all communication apps. And all other apps in general. Also it relocks an app when in use.
