The BluFin App is compatible with applied acoustics ‘BluFin’ charger for charging, and configuration of acoustic positioning beacons. Our BluFin App works using Bluetooth™ technology to interface with the BluFin hardware [CHA-2082], connected to a compatible applied acoustic product. The application has been developed to support a easier and modern user interface.
The BluFin App primary use is to configure an acoustic positioning beacon and to monitor charging, when connected to the BluFin hardware. This is used for pre-operational checks so the beacon is ready to work with a compatible USBL system. The application may also help in diagnostics of any hardware faults with clear error messages and support options. The application and hardware currently supports applied acoustic 1100 series beacons and legacy 1000 series beacons.
