About this game

On the night of Obon, to that house.
"The Key to the Veranda" is a Japanese-style escape game set in a nostalgic house on a night filled with the atmosphere of a festival.
Explore the storehouse, study, and tatami room, combining clues hidden in the scenery with tools to open each locked area one by one.

Searching for the Key in a Nostalgic House
The scent of tatami mats, old pillars, light shining beyond the shoji screens. In this strangely familiar house, you begin searching for a small key.
Compare the patterns and tools left in the rooms, solve the puzzles, and move forward. Follow the sounds of the festival outside the house and the story that unfolds beyond.

Explore the Japanese-style scenery
Tap on places that interest you to investigate, and turn left and right to compare the scenery. From the storehouse to the study, tatami room, and then to the night garden. A clue found in one place may lead to a mystery in another.

Solve the Mysteries Using Light and Tools
Select the tools you've picked up from your inventory and tap where you want to use them. Observe carefully the numbers, patterns, and clues that appear when you light the lamps.

Solve the mechanisms, such as dial locks and lighting sequences, to unlock and proceed. Enjoy a puzzle-solving experience where you combine the information you find and think carefully.
