Ratings and reviews

Pretty much identical to grindr. Users don't read profiles, the app is used entirely for hookups and not at all for dating. Unless you pay, your profile is shown in the global section, which also means a lot of overseas scammers and creeps wanting to swap pics. People getting aggressive and insulting you (including plenty of transphobia) when you tell them you aren't interested in casual sex, pics, or long distance. The app setup is a little nicer but the experience is almost exactly the same.

After coming back to this after many years, it's unfortunate to see the app in such a state. The UI is awkward and cumbersome to navigate. The text placement for profile information is bizarre. The app is in constant cash grab / spam pop-up mode. Everything you do reminds you that you should be paying them $9.99/mo to send albums or scroll more than 50 people down. I guess the model is "restrict and annoy". There are less people on here than before, which makes the cost less justifiable. My 2¢.

The app seems to perform ok but not having a paid subscription is very limiting. If I'm interested in someone I can't view their profile to see if I'm wasting my time. I've been contacted twice today but there is no photo for the individuals. I'm not going to bother if I can't see them. Perhaps it varies by market but I'm in a major metropolitan area and the local guys using the app seem to be predominantly 45 and up. Not useful when I'm searching for 35 and younger. Probably uninstalling.
