Ever needed to message someone just once, and didn't want their number stuck in your contacts forever? That's the whole reason DirectChat exists.
Pick the country, type the number, tap the button, and you're in the chat. No saving, no clutter.
Here's what it does:
- Opens a chat with any number without saving it first
- Lets you search 240+ country codes, with flags so you're not guessing
- Creates a wa.me link you can copy and share with anyone
- Makes a QR code for a number and saves it to your photos
- Keeps your recent numbers handy so you're not retyping them
- Lets you star the ones you use a lot
- Notices when you've just copied a number and offers to fill it in
- Lets you write your first message ahead of time if you want
It's free, there are no ads, and it follows your light or dark theme.
Some times it actually comes in handy:
- Messaging a seller on some marketplace you'll never talk to again
- Getting hold of a support line
- Reaching a delivery driver or cab driver
- Any quick, one-off conversation you don't want to save
On privacy: the numbers and messages you type stay on your phone. I don't collect them and I never see them.
