Old UI was way more intuitive, the new app is more complicated than it needs to be "new" functionality could have easily been patched to old app. The "away/home/standby" feature is dumb if you still get alerts for everything and have to put it on standby to not. Update: 1/23/23 It is getting worse. Now when you put any of the cameras in full screen, all the functionality buttons are covered by the dashboard can't scroll down can't use record/speaker(on/off) of floodlight functions unless verticl

Complete scam! This camera was marketed as having key features I was after as free and included. However once the premium subscription trial ends these features are not available, unless you want to pay the steep fee. I would never have purchased this brand if I knew I had to pay extra to record footage. The camera is also very ordinary and sends alerts chronically for leaves moving in the wind. Waste of time and money.

Not particularly user friendly. Too many options. Ambiguity e.g. using the term device for both Arlo stuff and mobiles, which leads to confusion in understanding settings. Troubleshooting is basically turn on/turn off. 3 is generous After about 10 months use device has started to fail on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis. App says device is offline but shows as connected. I reset everything (a pain) but it doesn't last.
