About this app

Anvil-MC (formerly ARM-MC) turns your Android phone or tablet into a Minecraft server. No PC, VPS or port forwarding required.

🚀 Custom Server Software Support
Upload and run your own .jar files to take full control of your server environment:
- Spigot & PaperMC, high-performance servers with full plugin support
- Fabric & NeoForge, modded worlds with your favourite gameplay enhancements
- Custom Jars, any compatible Java-based server software you choose

Note: Anvil-MC does not bundle or distribute any Minecraft server binaries. Users provide their own .jar files, or select a version from the official PaperMC and Fabric APIs. When a server is started, the Java runtime retrieves the selected server software and runs it as an independent process. This setup and execution happens entirely within the Java runtime sandbox and do not modify or extend the functionality of Anvil-MC itself.

🛠️ Features
- Host on Android: Run a local server instantly using your phone’s hardware.
- No Port Forwarding: Get a free public address (URL) automatically via tunneling. Friends can join from anywhere.
- Java & Bedrock Support: compatible with both major Minecraft editions
- Background Hosting: keep your server running while using other apps
- Mobile-Optimised Performance: tuned Java runtime for Android devices
- Import & Backup Worlds: move worlds between devices easily
- Plugin & Mod Support: use supported plugins and mods with compatible server software
- Full Server Management: RCON support, native dashboard, player kick/ban, game rule controls

💡 Perfect For
- Private SMPs, small survival or creative worlds for you and your friends
- Plugin & Mod Testing, a portable sandbox for developers
- Community Hangouts, a central hub for your group to meet
- Learning, understand server infrastructure and networking without any financial commitment

📱 Recommended Device Requirements
- Android 11 or newer
- 4 GB RAM minimum
- Stable internet connection for public hosting

⚠️ Important Notes
- Performance depends on device hardware and thermal limits
- Large modpacks or high player counts may require powerful devices
- Battery usage may increase while hosting servers

Very cool software. I personally host a minecraft server with a pc at home with ~50 players daily and this is something I never really thought of. You could compare it similarly to aternos except it runs on your own device. This is an early version and doesn't have all of the features so it has very basic customization. Looking forward to what they add!

I downloaded this because I saw this on TikTok, so I tried it. Pressed "Quick Setup" like what the tutorial said, and finished making the server... or so I thought. When I joined the server, it was incredibly laggy even though I chose Paper (I'm in Mobile). And in mere minutes, the server crashed. So I tried to rejoin, same thing it crashed. So I made ANOTHER server, still crashed! Please fix this because I am absolutely pissed off. 🫩

Feel free to join our Discord server for support. When you first join a server, it has to load all chunks and lag is expected since it runs on your phone, we recommend waiting a few minutes. Also decrease your ram setting, if you apply too much the phone may stop the server due to memory constraints. Let us know if this helped :)

This app is honestly one of the best server hosting tools I’ve used on Android. It’s super easy to set up, runs smoothly, and makes hosting servers really accessible even without a PC. The only thing I’d really love to see is support for the latest Minecraft version (26.1.2). Adding that would make the app perfect, since a lot of players want to experience the newest features and updates.
