Love Asana but this app is useless Inbox doesn't update til Click. Enter a task from email? Youre permanently stuck in that task until you reboot! Back button / anything else minimizes the app. Minimized.. Meaning if you open full app, it goes BACK to that same task and you're stuck til you reboot... So bad.. Then you can't undo comments, either. You really can't do anything. It's like looking through a window at a store you can't enter. Update: You can't even log out of your main account you choose 1st and switch. It's completely unusable.
Great Potential! I started using Asana to manage my business projects as well as home projects with my significant other but all on a desktop computer. The limited functionality on my Motorola DNA (smart phone) with the inability to add new projects when I'm on the go is inconvenient. We live in a mobile world and I don't lug my desktop around makes using this app... Frustrating. I love it and hate it. Please please please include the ability to add new projects, tasks, and assignees to mobile or users might go to Trello.
It helps others see. Being a programmer in a company of people who aren't very technical, it's sometimes hard to show the work you're doing and have done if it doesn't somehow directly affect the UI. Asana helps us track what we're going to do, but it also helps us show how we're spending our time.
No adding sub tasks? For the life of me I cannot figure out how to add sub tasks to a task. Seems you can only do this via the desktop. Please fix or at least make it easier to figure HOW to add sub tasks!
Almost there Recent releases of this app have been a big improvement. Adding a few more features that are available on desktop version would score 5 stars.
Good app. I would rate a 5 if it could add sections to projects, like we can in desktop mode.
