How secure is our Mobile Banking App?
In short, UBS Mobile Banking provides state-of-the-art security.
How? Our security concept protects you fourfold. We uniquely identify you with the Access App or Access Card. By defining security settings and activating real-time notifications, you can increase security even more. Furthermore, we use artificial intelligence to check certain transactions for irregularities. And we help you use the internet safely – see our security recommendations on ubs.com/security.

Ratings and reviews

App no longer works on android 11 as UBS decided to artificially prevent older devices from updating the app in the playstore. UBS is not the right bank for you if you don't want to keep changing phones every few years. In addition to that they're not the ones paying for the new phone. This phone is notnhatvold and works perfectly fine, it's ridiculous that my bank wants to force me to change it.

There's a feedback form for key4 insights feature in the app that doesn't work, so get my feedback here. I've deactivated key4 insights 3 times already, and still saw "we've added key4 insights widget to your home screen" again. Respect the user's choice! If I deactivated it, it means that I don't need this feature, and it won't change after you activate it for me again.

The app incorrectly identifies GrapheneOS as a rooted device and prevents me from accessing my account. Please fix the detection that you use, as GrapheneOS is a security and privacy focused open Android-based OS that is used by many security professionals and privacy enthusiasts, and which is not rooted. Personally, I am sure to close my UBS accounts if this issue persists; I don't think it's a good sign if IT specialists leave for security reasons.
