I've purchased an Astrill subscription for over 5 years to use in China and have experienced some ups and downs in service, but nothing compares to how awful the service has become in the recent month. It's almost literally unusable. Anytime I want to use YouTube, Reddit, or even a simple Google search I have to work through server after server trying various connection types for up to 30 minutes at a time. It's beyond frustrating and I'm so close to canceling my subscription which runs til 2026

For over a month and a half, Astrill has stopped being reliable. Heaven forfend you try to use two devices at once! For the cost of a subscription, Astrill used to be the most reliable. I am considering returning to ExpressVPN when this current subscription ends. Whatever your last few updates broke, fix it! I have to change locations 15 or so times to find one that will work for a few hours before starting again and forget about two devices using the same location at the same time!

I've been a premium member of Astrill for over 6 years. But I'm finally fed up. constant disconnects most servers are useless no way to do a speed test for the countless servers and if a servers works, it's still unstable. you have to reconnect every few minutes. the connection is getting worse everytime they do an update. and above all... stupendiously expensive for such bad service. they finally got me to a point of switching.
