I use it to access my NAS from android devices and upload/download files. App offers only very basic file management / browsing capabilities. it is not possible to search files, scroll quickly through folders with a large number of files, group them by date, select multiple files without touching each one individually, have all folders appear on top or on bottom of regular files and at the same time sort them by name / date, as desired. Lots of opportunities to add useful features here...

There's an issue when uploading from the download folder that it makes the app crash. It's one of the files in the folder, I moved them to separate folders, and that solved the issue. I give it stars because lately, the uploading speed is freaking slow. It uploads faster through my phone's native network storage access.

Hello,
Thanks for the feedback, and we're checking further and will fix the issue ASAP. The sorting function is supported while selecting files for uploading, but some specific files will cause the crashing if sorting by name. The issue will be fixed in the next release. Please email to stanleyhsu@asustor.com if any further problems. Thanks a lot.

2026 and there is still a massive problem using this app & my Asustor Flashstor FS6. If you upload a folder full of media (e.g. a folder of 100 photos+videos) if you then try to access that folder, the NAS become completely unusable with CPU maxed out at 99% That's because the NAS tries to create thumbnails which slowly appear in AI Data. It maxes out the CPU (99%) whilst it's caching all the images/thumbnails and you literally cannot use this NAS until it's finished caching the thumbnails.

Hello, We cannot reproduce the issue. The CPU will consume less than 30% for photo thumbnails and 70% for video thumbnails. AiData will create photo thumbnails on the mobile devices if using ADM 4.3.0 and above. Please email to stanleyhsu@asustor.com to provide more info, including ADM version and the photo formats for checking. Thanks a lot.
