Ratings and reviews

Updating to respond to the feedback: There are NO free daily lessons! You get 8 free and then the app will only show the subscribe options day after day. Fix it or be honest! Updating the review as after you finish the first section You're not able to do anymore without paying. It's also very buggy. The notifications don't work. The lessons are very short and don't give much practice or reinforcement.

I'm a native Afrikaans speaker and I was helping a friend learn Afrikaans with the help of this software. The lady's voice is clear, her enunciation is perfect, but the actual translation is .... sub par. I feel like they don't have consistency, they dont explain why certain things change the way they do (language rules) and their spelling (and understanding) sometimes seem lacking. for example, they translate elevator as "huisbak", while in actual fact it's "hysbak".

This app could be good but sadly it's not. The interface is nice but it's quite buggy. Sometimes the audio works sometimes it doesn't. But my biggest problem with it is that it gives vocabulary in a lesson then uses completely different words in the sentence practice. Very confusing, not worth the money. Also NOT FREE.
